Magnetic Float Sensor

Float sensors are generally used to monitor the level of liquids stored in a tank. Float sensors find applications in a wide variety of industries. Routine float sensors are made of PVC or plastic. These are generally used in domestic water level monitoring and to measure other liquids which are non reactive to the build material.

To monitor the level of chemical liquids, float switches made of corrosion free materials are available in the market. Stainless steel float sensors are relatively inert to reactive liquids plus they are durable too.

A float switch is a device used to sense the level of liquid within a tank. When the float ball rises or falls with the liquid to the level of the switch, The magnetic force of magnet which inside of the float ball will cause the reed switch to turn ON. When the float ball move away from the reed switch, the reed switch will turn OFF.
